A deposition module was added in version 2. The model was first applied in an extensive validation study using measurements from three large-scale tracer experiments (Stohl et al., 1998).
Its meteorological input data were based on the ECMWF-specific GRIB-1 (gridded binary) format. It provided gridded output of concentrations of chemical species and radionuclides.
